After a long illness Gary passed away peacefully, at the age of 55, at Providence Manor on Thursday October 13,2011. Survived by his loving wife Karen and son Taylor, predeceased by infant daughter Megan. Sadly missed by Karen's parents Paul and Joanne McKeown, Tim, JoAnn, Leslie and Amy McKeown,Theresa, Ray and Shannon Wilson, Marc, Laurie, Fraser and Haleigh McKeown and Beth Dave Aidan, Ainslie and Keeley Plouffe.
In keeping with Gary's wishes cremation has taken place. A Mass in Gary's memory will be celebrated at Church of The Good Thief, 743 King Street West Kingston on Monday October 17,2011 at 1:30 pm. Memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, 720 Progress Avenue Suite #5 Kingston, Ontario K7M 4W9 would be appreciated by the family.
