HUNT, Donald Gordon,
Donald Gordon Hunt, at 7:30 am, Wednesday, November 22, 2017, in his family home of over 50 years, surrounded by his soul mate of 47 years, Helen and family, passed away after a short battle with lung cancer. Born March 12th, 1954, Donald was 63 years old.
Predeceased by his parents Robert and Grace Hunt of Mallorytown, as well as his sister, Carol (Ken) Wilson. Donald will forever live on in the hearts of his family, his wife, Helen, of 43 years, his daughter Kyla Bissonnette (Wayne Durant), Bill Hunt (Chantel), Chris Hunt (Nicole) as well as his grandchildren Brett, Matthew (Rise), Kassie, Nicolas, Hunter, Madison, Keira, Abbigayle, and great-grandson Felix Enzo, as well as his siblings, Gail (Dan) Poole, Robert Hunt, and Cheryl (T.J.) Hough.
Donald retired from CNR after 35 years of service and spent the rest of his years enjoying time with friends, family and puppy, Sadie, at Puerto Backyarda (The Pit). He very much enjoyed traveling the world with Helen, most recently to Costa Rica, and was always helping with his grandchildren. Donald's sense of humor was one of a kind and will be fondly remembered. His heart was full and he loved with all he had. He accepted everyone as his own and was a truly wonderful man who will be greatly missed by many.
In keeping with Don’s wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service.
