WESTENDORP, Twyla Dawn


Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at KGH on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 in her 67th year. Mother of Katriena Westendorp and Andrew Westendorp. Grandmother to Craig Elder (Brittany), Mitchell Elder, James Elder and Katriena Westendorp(Jr.). Sister of Roland Paddle (Marjorie), Marilynn Richardson (Doug), Sylvia Baker (Dale), and Donna Jackson (Bernie). Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Former wife of Tony Westendorp. Born in Gananoque and moved to Kingston in 2001. In keeping with Twyla's wishes cremation has taken place.
Memorial service to be held at Christ Church 30 Church Street Gananoque on Saturday 12 November 2016 beginning at 1 pm. Internment will take place at Willowbank Cemetery at a later date. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the staff of Saint Mary's of the Lake 3 South for the wonderful care they provided along with Dr. Rappin. We would also like to thank the staff of KGH who cared for Twyla from time to time during her many stays there. A special thank you to niece Cathie Chisamore for all she did and the love she gave in the last years.
