In his 85th year, Bill passed away with his family by his side at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday September 8,2015. Loving husband of Leah ( Laird) for 63 years. Loving father of Susanne ( Robert) and Linda ( Francois). proud grandfather to Kathleen ( Mark) , Eric ( Jennifer), Johnny ( Allie) and great grandfather to Keylan, Bailee and Aiden.Will be missed by sister's -in-law Margaret Keeler ( late Raymond) ,Rita Laird ( late Evan) and Eileen Laird ( late Jim).Bill worked at Kingston Whig Standard for 40 years. He was a licensed Amateur Radio Operator ( VE3NFU). He loved to fish and watch hockey. In keeping with Bill's wishes cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation or service. The family would like to thank the VON for his care.
