ROSE ( Leslie) John
after a prolonged struggle with cancer John passed away peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital on Friday March 25, 2011 with his partner and best friend Heather Worsfold at his side.he was 68 years old. john was a father, grandfather and great grandfather. He had a full and intersting life that took him from trucking to being a Toronto Firefighter, then retiring to a farm in Yarker where he raised cattle and horses. He always had a trusty dog or two in his truck when he met his buddies at McCormick's store in Camden East for his morning toast and coffee. He will be missed for his wicked sense of humour and the kindness he showed to the many horses and riders that he trailered to local horse shows in the area. Mant many thanks to Dr. Stewart and the caring nurses and volunteers at the palliative care floor at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital. It was John's wish that there be no funeral service, a private family gathering will happen at a later date
