Following a lengthy illness and in his 73rd year, Mike passed away peacefully at home in Kingston, Ontario; Saturday, November 30,2013. His beloved wife, best friend and business partner Lori (Reid), and Oliver, his little canine companion, were at his side. Cherished father of daughter Tina Campbell and proud loving Grampa of grandson Regan Campbell and granddaughter Ashley Campbell (Matt). Survived by his sister, Mary Hodgins (Dale) and many nieces and nephews. Mike will be forever remembered by sister-in-law Fern Brown (Doug), and brothers-in-law Karl Reid and Monty Reid. Predeceased by parents Jim and Doreen Regan, sister Maureen Norquay (the late Edward), brothers John (Gaetane) and Doug (Sandra). Cremation has taken place. In keeping with Mike's wishes there will be no visitation or services. Lori and family extend a heartfelt thank you to all attending medical personnel, during many hospital stays and clinic visits;as well as the staff and caregivers of South East CCAC and affiliates, for their care and compassion during Mike's illness. A very special acknowledgment and appreciation to all the first responders for their professionalism; and support given to the family during a difficult time. As expressions of sympathy, and in keeping with Mike's wishes, donations may be made in his memory to your local Humane Society or Animal Rescue Shelter.
