RANK ALBERT NEMETH (1921-2010)
It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of FRANK ALBERT NEMETH on March 3, 2010, in his 89th year. He was much loved by wife of 64 years, Ella (Kovacs) Nemeth, daughter Linda MacKinnon and grandsons, Blair and Kevin MacKinnon. Predeceased by his sister Mary Violet (Elliott) Gaebel and son-in-law, John MacKinnon. Served during World War II in the RCAF, flying Lancasters. Thirty years as a businessperson, owning United Meats & Groceries in Brantford with a great gentleman and partner, Michael Mucy. Hobbies rounded out Frank's life: photography, sailing, carpentry, golf, bridge and chess. He tackled them all with zest, rigour & "a plan", always anxious to teach others. He was the "Pet Whisperer" to our dogs Corky, Gypsy, Taylor & Elmoe. He leaves us all with a rich legacy of memories & stories of a life well lived. He was in palliative care for just over a week following a stroke. Our family wishes to thank the medical staff at Kingston General Hospital for the superb care given Frank. According to Frank's wishes, cremation has taken place, in the care of Simpler Times, Kingston. There will be no funeral. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
