Peacefully at Fairmount Home on November 12,2011 in her 76th year, surrounded with love from her family,Rita set out on yet another journey.
She leaves behind her beloved Prince Charming and soul-mate Mac after 58 years. Much loved and cherished mother of Vickey ( Lee) Fillion. Jackey ( Dale ) Dixon, and Chrissy ( Robert ) McCallum. Dear sister of Viola Roddick of Brockville. Predeceased by her parents Burton and Edna Halladay. Adored, loved and affectionately known as " Nanny" by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Rita's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Fairmount Home for their ongoing compassionate care, love , caring ,dignity and friendship that she received over the last 16 years.In keeping with Rita's wishes cremation will be followed by a graveside service at Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea on Saturday November 19th,2011 at 11:00am.
