KILNER HARVEY C. – July 20, 1918 to December 25, 2014. Harv has finally been released from his mortal tethers as he went to join his wife of 73 years in Heaven, on Thursday, December 25, 2014 at the John Parrott Centre in Napanee Ontario. These last few months had been especially lonely for him since his wife died in September and he often said how he longed to see his mom and dad again. His passing came as a complete surprise but we are comforted in knowing that he is finally happy. Harv is survived by his children Ron Kilner(Bea), Gord Kilner (Jan), and Ellen Mulder (Gerry). He will be missed by his grandchildren Michelle, Kim, Robert, Tammy, Tracey, Jeff, Steve, Johanna, Tina , Dale and many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Harv had been cared for by the wonderful staff at the John M. Parrott Centre for the last two years of his life. We understand that he had a special nick name for many of the staff there and on behalf of the family, we offer a huge THANK YOU to each and every one of you! Acting on his wishes, Harv was cremated and his ashes were placed alongside his beloved wife at the Cataraqui Cemetery in Kingston following a private graveside service .
