Charlotte Maria Gorman, 42 of Kingston, Ontario passed away June 10, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Corner Brook, NL in 1969. She will be deeply missed by her three daughters Jacinda (19), Jessica (16) and Tori (6) who were her life as she said in her own words "my girls are the air I breathe that keep me going everyday". Always a loving mother, her children were her pride and joy. Charlotte had an extraordinarily strong will, coupled with a wonderful sense of humor and a large heart with room for anyone. She was member of Kingston Standard church and so enjoyed her time in this worship community. She is survived by her father Stan Tobin (Judy) Halifax, NS; her brother Sheldon Patey (Josie Baker) (and family) of Kingston, half brothers Todd and John Tobin (Halifax), as well as many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins from Newfoundland to Iceland. She loved her family and friends immensely. Charlotte will be missed by her many friends spanning the country, those who were by her side or with her in spirit. Cremation has taken place under the direction of "Simpler Times". A memorial service will be held at Kingston Standard Church (1185 Sunnyside Road K7L 4V4) on Saturday, June 25, at 1pm. A private family interment service will be held at a later date. Donations in Charlotte's memory can be made to the Brain Tumor Foundation of Canada.
