EVANS, Anna May (nee Anson) – Peacefully and surrounded by her family at Trillium Ridge, Anna May passed away on Monday, January 27, 2014 in her 81st year. She was predeceased by her parents Jack and Carrie Anson. Beloved wife of Ron Evans. Loving mother of Dan (Patti), Holly (Johnny) and Todd (Tricia). Sister to Dolly Gilmour (Don – deceased), John “Bud” Anson (Patty), Barbara Baldwin (Doug – deceased) George “Sonny” Anson (Marilyn), and Susie Scott (Wayne). Loving and cherished Nanny to Shane (Shaly), Corey, Ted (Amanda), Leah, Lacy, Emily and many nieces and nephews. Anna May was a kind, generous person with a quick sense of humor, and was loved dearly by all who knew her.

A Celebration of Life for Anna May will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at the 560 Legion on Montreal Street from 1 – 3 p.m. Family and friends are welcome.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Trillium Ridge Nursing Home. The care and compassion they gave to Anna May during her stay was exceptional.
