DAVIS John Eastwell ( JAck)
Tuesday April 27, 2010, after a difficult and painful struggle , Jack died at KGH with his family surrounding him. Jack was born in Kingston on January 31, 1927 to Ada and Fredrick Davis. Jack was the beloved husband of Orize ( O'Shea) for nearly 62 years. Along with his wife he is survived by his children Terry Thompson of Kingston, Judy Davis- Young ( Ian), of Perth Road, John ( Cheryl ) of Edmonton, Caorlyn Miller ( Pat Jack) of Kitchener, Roberta Hartwick ( Jim) of Kingston . He is also survived by his granchildren Cory McAllister Shane Davis-Young and Lauren Hartwick of Kingston,Anne Diegel ( Jamie) of waterloo, Victoria Zuppan ( Chris ) of Erin , David Miller ( Candace) of Kitchener, Jesse Hartwick ( Cindy ) of Halifax, Jonathan, Justin ( Mary Ann) Davis, Erin and Lisa daley- Davis of Edmonton and eleven great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his grandsons Clifford McAllister ( 1999) and Gavin Davis- Young ( 2010) . Jack is also survived by his sister Doris Davis, his brothers Harold and Albert ( Eloise ) Davis.He was predeceased by his sisters Frieda and Evelyn and his brothers George and Robert. The family would like to thank the staff of Emergency Departement and Connell 10 at KGH as well as Dr. Singh and the "ALMOST" Dr. Singh. The palliative Team and Chaplain Janeta Kobes for the excellent care and compassion shown to Jack over the last few weeks. In keeping with Jack's wishes a family graveside service will take place at Cataraqui Cemetery on Friday April 30, 2010 at 1:00pm.
