CLAVETTE, Marcel “Moose” Ernest
August 10, 1946 - April 4, 2023
We sadly announce the peaceful passing of Marcel Clavette at Napanee General Hospital on April 4, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson’s and cancer.
He was dearly loved and will be missed by his wife Sheryl, his two sons Matthew (Natasha), Philip (Tara), and his granddaughter Morgan. Marcel will also be dearly missed by his brother-in-law, sister-in-law and card-playing partners Mark and Crystal Brown. Lovingly remembered by his brother and sisters-in-law John and Lorraine Leonard and Bill and Bella Leonard, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He is survived by his brother Wesley, his sister Maxine (nee Price), and his youngest brother Clarence. He is predeceased by his sister Hazel (nee MacKinnon).
Marcel retired from Gibbard Furniture Shops in 2008 after 35 years. He had a passion for fishing, music and, to a fault, the Toronto Maple Leafs. He is remembered as a hard-worker, for his kind words and his eagerness to help friends in need.
A service highlighting special memories and Marcel’s hope for the future, will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 2 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 351 Bridge Street, Napanee, ON.
