Obituary for Deborah Nadean Lloyd

LLOYD, Deborah Nadean

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the passing of Debbie after a courageous battle with cancer on March 16, 2023. Debbie leaves behind her loving partner Helmut Przontka and pet Teddy. Will be dearly missed by her siblings Barbara Morrow (Daryl) and Martin Lloyd. Loving aunt to Reece Morrow (Melaney) and Arlen Morrow (Kelly) and great-nephews Hudson and Kelson Morrow. Debbie will be remembered by Aunts and Uncles of the Walters and Lloyd families and many cousins. Predeceased by her parents Harvey and Lucy Lloyd. Debbie devoted her career to the love of travel. After graduating college, she worked for R&R Travel in Toronto then moved to Kingston to work for Cleland Travel. Then taking a leap of faith, started her own travel company called the Travel Broker, with her late husband. From then Debbie travelled the world many times over. During that time Debbie created another division called Today’s Women Traveller which was for women to travel together in small groups to tour wonderful destinations and themed locations. While doing so met and made many lasting friendships along the way.
Debbie was dearly loved by her partner and family who always enjoyed her visits and hearing the stories of her travels and receiving souvenir’s brought back with her. Debbie love the outdoors and gardening and took great pride in her home and surroundings.
In keeping with Debbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to UHKF-Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario, Suite#4-55 Rideau Street Kingston, Ontario K7K 2Z8 would be appreciated by the family.
