Obituary for Robert (Bob) Gordon Beazer
BEAZER, Robert Gordon (Bob)
It is with great sadness that we announce that we lost our beloved patriarch Robert (Bob) Gordon Beazer on January 2, 2023 at Napanee General Hospital, surrounded by family, love and music he left this world peacefully for the “Big Drag Race” in the sky. Loving father of Linda Beazer-Allen (Ron), Wendy Beazer, Leslie Jeffryes (Jamie), Bobby Beazer (Frances) and Bill Beazer (Vicky). Dear grandfather to 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren. Will be missed by his sister SusaBelle Beazer (Doug) and many nieces, nephews and an abundance of friends near and far. Predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years Joan Beazer, his sister Joanne Dewar and brothers Ronald, Bill, Bryan and 2 great-grandchildren. Bob was an avid car enthusiast who was inducted into the Canadian Drag Racing Hall of Fame in October of 2016. He was known in the industry as The Official NHRA (NO) Rain Dancer. He loved his time in the pool at aqua fit, both at the YMCA in Kingston and in Hawaii at the Oahu Club. There will be a celebration of life in the summer of 2023 details to be provided at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to UHKF-Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario Suite#4-55 Rideau Street, Kingston, Ontario K7K 2Z8 would be appreciated by the family.
