Obituary for Kenneth Lawrence LeSarge

On the morning of Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at the age of 64, Kenneth Lawrence LeSarge passed peacefully in his sleep at home in Kingston, Ontario. Dad, Papa, Kenny, Ken, “Boo” is sadly missed by his devoted wife Isabel, son Jason (Kristi), predeceased son Marc, and daughter Natalie (Brad) Galliah. Papa’s loving grandchildren Finn, Ben, Cora, Rae and Lewis will dearly miss him, indefinitely. Knowing Ken meant understanding his deep love of his family. His pride and admiration for his children was evident, and he often said his children were his greatest accomplishment. The most inspiring part of Ken’s life was his deep love for his wife, whom he affectionately called “Skinny”. Isabel, and their nearly 45-year marriage, was everything to him. His dedication to loving her is a rare and true blessing.
Ken had a larger-than-life personality. His love of dancing with Issy and his kids was always an attraction at many family events; he had slick moves and loved to perform. His children are forever grateful that he instilled in them this shared love of music and dance, as it often sets the stage for wonderful family memories. Ken’s appreciation for the simpler things in life is something he ingrained in his family. He was a fan of most sports, but his loyalty belonged to the Montreal Canadiens and the Fighting Irish of Notre Dame. Many weekend days were dedicated to watching his games on TV, except Saturday mornings, as he dedicated this time to morning cartoons with his kids and grandkids.
Forever memories will be shared by his siblings Paul (Evelyn), Chris, John (Judy), Mike (Janet), Janet (Sandy), predeceased Dave, Pauline (Manual), Paulette, and Jimmy. Ken is predeceased by his parents Leo and Louise. He will be sadly missed by his in-laws Luciana and predeceased Tony Castellarin, Ileana (Larry), Dolores (John). Many loved nieces and nephews will miss Uncle Ken. Ken will live on in the hearts and memories of many.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Ken’s name, and his son Marc’s memory, to either Martha’s Table Suite#154-427 Princess Street Kingston, Ontario K7L 5S9, The St. Vincent de Paul Society 85 Stephen Street, Kingston, Ontario K7K 2C5 or the Kingston Foodbank 140 Hickson Avenue, Kingston, Ontario K7K 2N6.
All are welcome to an intimate interment on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 12:00 pm at St. Mary’s Cemetery 718 Division Street, followed by a celebration of life from 1:00pm-5:00pm at the 560 Legion 734 Montreal Street. Light lunch and refreshments will be shared.
