Survived by brother Chris (Linda) and sister Claudette. Uncle to Steven, Janelle and Jennifer.
Predeceased by parents Roma and Martin Myers, along with brother Eric.

Carl will be remembered as a loving and giving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.
He was a strong-willed, determined and opinionated man. Carl was giving and generous, hardworking and dedicated to his family and friends. He taught us great values, some of the most important being to be fair, caring, compassionate and honest. He was always the “neighbourhood dad”. Whether filling his car with local kids and heading to the beach on his days off or just letting a kid or dog hangout by his side for company, he was there.

As per Carl’s wishes, a private family celebration of life will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations made to “It Takes a Village Dog Rescue” by e-transfer to villagedogrescue@gmail.com or by cheque mailed to 119 Addison Road, Athens, ON K0E 1B0, would be appreciated by the family.
