ADAMS, Carla (nee Blanchard)
Carla Adams 68, of Kaladar, Ontario passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at Kingston General Hospital.
She is survived and missed by brother John David Blanchard, sister-in-law Marie and niece Rachel. She was predeceased by her parents John and Anne Blanchard and husband Andy Adams.
Carla’s first love was her bloodhounds which she showed and bred for more than 35 years under the kennel name Acadian, a tribute to her maritime roots. Together with Jan Day she owned the Flying Pigs Breakfast and Lunchery restaurant in Thomas, West Virginia. She was known for her baking, winning a number of contests and folks would come from states away just for a piece of her blue ribbon pie!
In keeping with Carla’s wishes cremation has taken place.
