It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mario of Belleville, at the age of 54 due to liver failure.
Mario passed away peacefully at Kingston General Hospital with his wife and two kids by his side on November 20, 2022
Mario was a loving husband of 25 years to his best friend and wife Tammy (nee Ferreira).
A loving father to Mackenzie and Ethan.
Dear son, of the late Lidia Salinas. Son-in-law to Vidalia Ferreira and late Joao Luis Ferreira of Kingston.
Mario will be dearly missed by his siblings, nieces and nephews.
Mario worked at Kelly’s Guardian Pharmacy of Belleville for 30+ years.
He will be greatly missed by his many past and present coworkers and by the many customers he served.
Mario enjoyed his time with his family and friends and he loved serving his church at ParkDale Baptist Church and Harbour Church whenever needed.
He loved soccer and would coach whenever possible. He would cheer for Spain and also Portugal because his wife said so.
He also loved his hockey and watched regularly. He was a long-time leafs fan and in honour of Mario, if possible, please wear any Toronto Maple Leafs attire.
A funeral will be held December 3, 2022 at ParkDale Baptist Church. 514 Sidney St. Belleville. Family will be excepting visitations at 9:30am -11am followed by a service at 11am. A light lunch will be provided.
A big thank you for all your support and May all the Glory be to God.
