Obituary for Barbara Lynn Jones
JONES, Barbara Lynn
April 19, 1944 – September 16, 2022
Lynn sadly passed away peacefully with family by her side late Friday evening September 16, 2022 at Rideaucrest Home for the Aged at the young age of 78 years old.
She will fondly be remembered and immensely missed by children Mike (Kim) Thompson, Nancy (Glen) Bates. Cherished “Nan” to grandchildren Jason (Melissa), Brittany (Rob), Alicia (Brad), Brooke (Sawyer) and great grandchildren James, Aidan, Londyn and Georgia. Lynn will join her many loving brothers and sisters already passed. Lynn leaves behind nothing but beautiful memories for all who knew her.
She is also remembered by the many wonderful friends, acquaintances and past collogues she built relationships with throughout the past many decades. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the caring & compassionate staff at Rideaucrest. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local Humane Society, an organization as passionate about and dedicated to the love and care of small animals just as Lynn was.
To honor Lynn’s memory, the family is hosting a special time of reflection on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm (drop in style) at Admiral’s Apartments in the Common Room (1st floor) at 334 Queen Mary Road, Kingston, Ontario. Cremation has already taken place. Interment will take place at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens to be announced at a later date.
