Obituary for Marc Joseph LeSarge

LESARGE, Marc Joseph

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic but peaceful passing of Marc Joseph LeSarge, age 42, at his home on Monday, May 2nd, 2022. Marc was always the entertainer of the family, constantly trying to make people giggle or smirk at his antics. He thrived off of his ability to make people laugh. Marc’s creativity and imagination was second to none and he could often be found concocting elaborate schemes to entertain his nieces and nephews and his siblings during their younger years. From building forts or setting up a “sniper camp” to creating and leading made up on-the-spot games; Marc was always the enthusiastic leader of fun. Talk to anyone who has interacted with Marc and they will describe to you a genuinely kind person; someone who takes a moment to be in your moment. Marc will be forever loved and will be sadly missed. Marc is survived by his parents, Kenneth and Isabel (nee Castellarin), and his siblings, Jason (Kristi) and Natalie (Brad) Galliah. Marc will be lovingly remembered by his Nonna (Luciana), nephews (Finn, Ben, and Lewis), nieces (Cora and Rae), numerous aunts and uncles (Paul and Evelyn, Chris, Mike and Janet, John and Judy, Janet and Sandy, Pauline and Manual, Paulette, Jimmy, Ileana and Larry, Dolores and John) cousins (Jackie, Kristine, Dan, Nicky, Dave, Megan, Amanda, Andrew, Troy, Tonya, and Cole), and too many more family members and friends to list. Marc is predeceased by his grandparents (Leo and Louise LeSarge and Tony Castellarin) and his uncle (Dave LeSarge). In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please make a donation in Marc’s name to either Martha’s Table, The St. Vincent de Paul Society, or the Kingston Foodbank; all organizations that were frequently a support for Marc. An intimate interment will be held Friday, May 13th, 2022 at 10:30 am at St. Mary’s Cemetery 718 Division St., followed by a celebration of life from 1:00-4:00 pm at the 560 Legion 734 Montreal St. All are welcome.
