JOHNSON, Florence May (nee Gillies)
September 11, 1930-April 23, 2022
Passed away peacefully at her home at the age 91. Loving and entertaining mother to Richard, Cindy, Enid and Thor and her extended family was huge. She will be sadly missed by her brother Ronnie and sister Dodie. Florence had many grandchildren and great grandchildren that filled her with joy. Florence made friends wherever she went. Predeceased by her husband Raymond who cherished her and her daughter Debi. She lived in Southampton for many years with her husband Ray and returned to Kingston after his death. She was an amazing hostess and her house was always filled with laughter and music. She loved to dance and could often be found jiving to her favourite song. She made everyone feel that they were the most important person in the room. Special thanks to Dr. Hagarty and Dr. Cam and nurse Tammy who made Mom's journey so much easier. She will be greatly missed and we are so fortunate to have so many wonderful memories that she will never be gone from our hearts. A private family service will take place at a later date.
