RAMSAY, Peter Walter
On May 26th as the sun was rising Peter died peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He will be dearly missed by his wife Jennifer and their children, Jessie, William, and Juliana. He was the adored son of Peter Richard Ramsay and the late Gwyneth Ramsay and dear son-in-law to Howard and Karen Goodfellow. He will be sorely missed by sisters Elizabeth (George), Anne, Janet, brother-in-law Geoff (Anne), many nieces and nephews and great nieces, extended family, friends, and his community.
Peter was a kind and caring man who lived his life to help others. He cherished his family and was a loving and devoted husband and father. He had an amazing ability to put people at ease and loved planning fun adventures for his family. He was always quick to smile and laugh and wanted to share with others the joy he found in everyday life. Peter believed in the importance of community and was a good neighbour to all. He was a dedicated member of the South Frontenac Fire Service and a community volunteer. He was committed to preserving the past and putting beauty into the world through his work as a heritage carpenter. Peter lived his life with grace and a heart filled with love and gratitude.
Due to COVID restrictions a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
