Obituary for Douglas Glen Topping
TOPPING, Douglas Glen
January 16, 1936 – February 6, 2021
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Douglas Glen Topping at Arbour Heights on February 6, 2021 at the age of 85. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 63 years Gayle, his four children, Steve, Kimberly, Peter and Scott. His seven grandchildren, Kristin, Carrie, Kyle, Sarah, Jennifer, Shane and Lindsey and his four great-grandchildren Samarah, Miller, Carson and Kodak.
Doug was born, raised and worked in the Napanee area as an Auctioneer. He enjoyed collecting and restoring antique cars, restoring furniture and being near the water. Unfortunately, Doug had to spend the last 10 years of his life bravely battling Alzheimer’s disease. We would like to thank Arbour Heights for the excellent care and service during Dougs stay especially during this trying time. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Family will gather at a later date for a Celebration of Life.
