BUCKENHAM, Gail Kathleen (nee Balfour)
1938-2020

Passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday June 24, 2020.
Gail was born in Forest Hills Village, Toronto and was the youngest and last living child of Dr.G Rupert and Helen Balfour. Gail attended all Forest Hill schools, primary to grade 13. Gail was married to the late Alfred Buckenham of Windsor Ontario for 50 years.

Gail started working with The Ministry of Transportation in Downsview, Toronto and later transferred to Kingston Ontario to continue her career with the same Ministry. She retired after 14 years.

Gail had a passion for gardening and while living in the former Pittsburgh Township, she helped organize The Pittsburgh Garden club. She worked in retirement to bring together the community through gardening. Gail continued her passion by volunteering for The Lemoine Point CA native Plant Nursery. Gail always kept busy tending to her own beautiful gardens and working out at the local gym, but also enjoyed relaxing with a good book.

Gail will be missed by her children Robert, Paul and Amy, her cherished granddaughter Nicole and furry friend and companion Cookie.
