Obituary for Marcel Patrick Hottot
HOTTOT, Marcel Patrick
March 20, 1930 – May 26, 2020
Marcel passed away peacefully at Providence Care Hospital after a short courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday May 26th, 2020 in his 91st year. Predeceased by his wife Theresa (March 18, 2016). Marcel is survived by his children Mark, Michelle Hottot (Mike), Yvette McDonald (Adam), Trisha Hottot (Mike), and Rebecca Evans (Gary), as well as 10 grandchildren (predeceased by granddaughter Makaila Evans) and 14 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Palliative Care teams at both Kingston Health Sciences Centre and Providence Care Hospital for the wonderful care during the COVID-19 pandemic in accommodating the family as best they could to ensure loved ones were by Marcel’s side until the end. In keeping with Marcel’s wishes Cremation has taken place and the family will host a celebration of Marcel’s life at a future date.
