MURPH THE MOVER
Passed away peacefully with his family by his side after a 7 month illness at the Kingston Health Sciences Centre (KGH) on January 20, 2020 at the age of 73. Known as Murph the Mover, Gene was in the moving business just shy of 50 years. Survived by his wife of 35 years Jean, who loved him deeply. He loved his brother as much as he loved him, Bernie (Sharon). Also survived by in-laws Jo-Ella and Peter Pushcar. Will be missed by his nieces, nephews, great niece and great nephews. Gene was predeceased by his parents Irene and Clayton Murphy and Brother Leonard. At Gene’s request cremation has taken place. A service will be held at a later date. Special thanks to Kelly and Scott Wagar who were a great help. He loved his special friends Barb, Al, Kay and Bill. All these people meant so much to him. Thank you to the staff of ICU, Davies 4 and KIDD 6.
