HILL, Lynda Irene (nee Hart)
August 22, 1940 – December 13, 2019
After a long, courageous battle, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother and grandmother Lynda (Hart) Hill at the age of 79. She fought the fight, but was tired and needed to rest. She closed her eyes to sleep eternally on Friday, December 13th. She leaves behind her best friend and husband of 57 years Ron. Loving mother of Eric (Deborah) and Larry (Holly). Cherished grandmother of Tyler, Victoria, Elizabeth, William DeGuire (Ashley), Jesse Hunt (Brenda), Madison and Hayden. Great grandmother to Isaac and Ava. Sadly missed by many of her dear friends. Reunited with her brother, mother and father. She also leaves her adored, faithful companion Snyder. Thank you to all of the doctors, nurses and PSW’s at KGH, HDH, Seeley’s Bay Family Medicine Clinic and Care Partners for of their wonderful care throughout Lynda’s journey. The family welcomes friends to a Celebration of Life that will take place at Larry and Holly Hill’s home at 4933 Holmes Road Inverary on Sunday, December 22nd from 1-5pm. Burial to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the UHKF – Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario 55 Rideau Street, Suite #4 Kingston, Ontario K7K 2Z8 would be appreciated by the family.
