ELWOOD, Marjorie Ellen (nee Hide),
Born November 22, 1922 in Farnham Surrey England, entered into peace and rest at Arbour Heights Nursing Home on July 5, 2019 with family at her side. Marj came to Kingston in 1946 as the beloved wife of William George (Bill – deceased). Ever dedicated to her family, she is survived by, sons Michael (Dorothy) and Peter (Deborah), daughter Anne MacIver (Tony), seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Also her brothers Sid and Reg (Ruth) Hide in England. At Marj’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Burial at Cataraqui Cemetery.A remembrance gathering for family and friends will be arranged at a later date.The family would like to thank the dedicated care givers at Briargate and Arbour Heights for their compassionate care of Marj throughout her residencies. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of choice.
