Dear Judy and family: I am so sorry to hear about Audrey's passing. After Brent retired I have continued to mentor new dog/cat teams as part of their certifying as visiting therapy teams. I would see Audrey in the hall and would take the pets over to her and something inside of her always remembered me. I have continued to visit on my own, just chatting and sitting with the residents. I would check in on Audrey and sadly watched her decline; however I did see her on the 23rd and she looked so very peaceful. Audrey was one of the first residents Brent and I visited with, starting out as rookies and she always made us feel welcome and usually sent me home with a piece of fruit. We often talked about her love of dogs and her three very special Shelties. My prayers and thoughts are with your family. I know that Audrey is in a better place and has been welcomed by three very happy Shelties and one very devoted Golden. Barb Kelly
