Passed away suddenly on Friday May 10, 2019, in his 86th year. Predeceased by his lifelong partner Dorothy LaLonde and survived by his friend Mabel D'entremont, stepdaughters Cathy Hamilton(Peter)and Patricia LaLonde(Mark Dermott). Remembered by his children Vernon, Cheryl Ann and Darryl Smith of B.C.. Missed by his Grandchildren Shawn(Queenie), Leigh(Dean), Ian(Jen) and Lauren his Little Missy. Loved by his Great-grandchildren Claire, Brock, Hayden, Hayley and Matthew. Greatly missed by brother Bob, many nieces and nephews and his Tuesday lunch group. Bill worked at Rosen Fuels and for Corrections Canada. He enjoyed an active, social, independent life especially dances at the Canadian Legion and Old Tyme Fiddlers events and his various roles with the 39 Club and Collins Bay Legion. Cremation has taken place. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday May 25, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Saint Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 1111 Taylor Kidd Blvd., Kingston followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 – 3:30 at 631 Collins Bay Legion, 4034 Bath Rd., Kingston.
