Arlie Christine Moore age 91 died peacefully at Trillium Ridge, Kingston on March 22. Born in Perth, the youngest daughter of Fred and Florence Hanna both deceased. Predeased by her sister Ivey Mather and will be sadly missed by her sister Wilma Imeson, Newmarket. Cherished wife for 62 years to Tim Moore (deceased). Arlie was the mother of seven children: William (deceased), Beth Belanger, Cathy Light, Louise Gallipeau, infant daughter Jennifer Ann (deceased), Tom (JoAn) and Ted. A very proud Grandmother to 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.Everyone who knew Mom appreciated her many talents: piano, sewing, stain glass work, knitting and greeting card making. She was a remarkable woman known for her kindness, hard work and vibrant spirit. She will be missed.Sincere thank you from the family to the staff at Rosewood Retirement Home and Trillium Ridge Care, Kingston for their exceptional care of Mom.
Friends & family are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, March 28 from 1 pm - 1:45 - Service to follow at 2:00 pm. Edith Rankin Memorial United Church, 4080 Bath Road, Kingston, Ontario K7M 4Y7. Interment at a later date at Rideau Ferry Cemetery.
