How blessed we are to walk life's pathway with certain people. Barbara Willoughby was one such person. A more caring, generous and open being you could never meet. A loving mother and wife. We lived opposite Barbara and her family in the early years when our children were little.. I always remember Karen going off to kindergarten with her beautiful hair in bouncy locks that her mother took so much trouble with each night. Kevin used to come over and play with Philip my son. We kept in touch over forty years after our paths separated, with visits to Kitchener, at Karen's wedding and when Barbara and Jack visited Ottawa. In the past years it was always with Christmas cards. I will miss the connection with this beautiful women very much but feel privileged to have known her as a friend and will always treasure that. Goodbye dear Barb.
