WHALEN, Mary Genevieve (Kennedy)
Peacefully in the comfort of her own home on Thursday, December 20, 2018 (August 26, 1923 – December 20, 2018). Jenny was in her 96th year and was predeceased by her husband Gerald Whalen (2007), her eldest son Paul (2012) and her brother Jack. She was the daughter of the late James and Annie (Finn) Kennedy. Cherished mother of Debra McGregor (Jurriaan), Brian Whalen, Marney Whalen-Mau (Terry), and Barry (Patti Ann) Whalen, all of Kingston. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Shane McGregor (Tatiana), Dr. Aaron (Dr. Tara) McGregor; Brandon Whalen (Megan), Gillian Whalen; Jerai Mau (Brock), Kianna Mau, Jade Mau; Taylor Whalen and Genevieve-Jenna Whalen; as well as great grandchildren: Rowan Whalen; and, Liam and Haley McGregor. There will be a private family service at a later date. Mom and Dad instilled in us the importance of family gatherings and always welcomed all of our friends and family into their home! Rest in Peace Mom. .
