Tim Hamilton passed suddenly in his home at the age of 58, with his best friend and wife of 32 years Paddy by his side. He was a loving husband, son, brother, father, and was Poppy to five grandkids, his favourite people in the world. He will be missed by his parents Jack and Marilyn Hamilton, and brother Brent Hamilton (Delphine), and parents-in-law Marie and Richard Gibson. Tim’s pride and joy was his family, including his wife Paddy, and daughters Felicia Dowker (Matt), Farrah Heska (Adam), and Kaitlyn Hamilton (Jack). He was the best Poppy ever to Ethan, Hayden, Gavin, Hayley, and Addison, and never missed a chance to wrestle, play on the jungle gym, and swim with his grandkids. Tim was an outgoing, funny, big-hearted (and sentimental!) man who welcomed and made a friend out of everyone he met. He lived for family dinners, and loved to have everyone together laughing and telling stories…loudly, so that he could hear them. He always looked forward to hunting trips with his dad and brother, and a day spent ice fishing with his buddies was a pretty good day. Tim loved life and lived his to the fullest, and will be missed by all who knew him. Cole Lake will not be the same without his laughter, dance moves and hugs. He could always be counted on for a joke, a story, or a piece of candy from his secret stash. Tim loved his family, and in lieu of donations he would have liked for you to spend some time with yours.
