Obituary for Margot Maas

MAAS, Margot

Nov. 10, 1935 - Jun. 12, 2020

On June 12, after a long struggle with Parkinson's Disease, Margot passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her loving family. Margot was the dearly loved wife of John C. Maas for 61 years and the cherished mother of Bill (Faith), Janny (Mark), and John (Melanie). Beloved Oma of Caelyn, Matthew, Deb, Amy, Kelsey, Rachel, and Amelia. Loving Great Oma of Riley and Clark. Margot was predeceased by her infant grandson, Nicholaas (Oct. 31, 2000). Margot is survived by her brother Karl, sister Anneliese, amd many brother and sister in-laws in Holland. Prior to her wedding Margot lived with the Maas family, in Holland, for 2 and 1/2 years and became a much loved and special sister to all of them. Margot's family was her life and she will be deeply missed by them and her many relatives and friends in Canada, Holland, and Germany. We would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, and personal support workers who cared for her all these years. At Margot's request there will be a private family service. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Parkinson's Canada and/or UHKF - Providence Care Hospital. Any donations would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Slaap zacht.
