CASSELL, Merla ( nee Currie)
Peacefully with family by her side at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston on Tuesday January 21, 2020 in her 67th year. Beloved wife of the late Wayne Cassell Sr. and special friend of Ed Karee. Dear mother of Wayne (Amanda). Cherished grandmother of Skylar, Aaron, Shelby and Little Wayne. Great-grandmother of Zelda and Octavia. Predeceased by her parents Edward Currie and Thelma Rogers. Dearest sister of Grant Smead (Jan), Elaine Forletta, Donald Currie, Russell Currie (Wendy), Jim Currie, Alan Currie, Roger Currie (Theresa) and Mickey Currie (Jackie). Sadly missed by numerous nieces,nephews,cousins, friends and Storm. In keeping with Merla's wishes cremation has taken place.
"It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone. For part of us went with you on the day God called you home."
