WILLOUGHBY, Wanda Barbara Joan – July 1, 1938 – January 28, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family of Barbara Joan Willoughby announces her passing peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Monday, January 28, 2019. Barbara Willoughby of Lansdowne, Ontario was in her 81st year. Beloved wife of Jack (John) Willoughby, dear mom to Karen Williams, Kevin Hagerman, Penny Embury (Mark Hurst), devoted nana to Mackenzie and Andrew, sister in ‘love’ Rosaleen (late Donald Emmons), sister in law Terri (Bill Wood). Predeceased by her parents Douglas and Jean Emmons (Munro), Stuart and Elsie Willoughby, brother Charles Emmons and sister Audrey (Derek Handforth). She will be missed dearly by many nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, cremation has taken place; there will be no visitation or service. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. We will remember her love for her family and her kindness to everyone she met. Donations may be made in her name to the Food Bank in Seeley’s Bay made out to R.O.L.L. Aid Centre P.O. Box 29 Seeley’s Bay, Ontario K0H 2N0.
