LAIDLAW, Robert John

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert John (Bob) on Thursday November 8, 2018. Bob passed away peacefully at his home in his 64th year. Predeceased by his father Winford Brown and his mother Mary Lillian (Hanley). Beloved brother of Douglas (Irene),Shirley(Donald) and Lois (Lynn). Predeceased by brother William Winford (Bill) and baby sister Faye Marlene. Bob will be lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his extended family at Mowat Avenue, Mary, Glen, Ralph and the late Rob. Bob has lived with his extended family, since his mother passed in 1988, where he recieved the utmost care and compassion. Bob was known for his sharp wit and his infectious smile and will be tremendously missed by many. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 12:00 noon in Chalmers United Church, 212 Barrie Street, Kingston, Ontario. Memorial donations to the Community Living Kingston & District Sunburst Fund, 6-541 Days Road, Kingston, Ontario K7M 3R8 would be appreciated by the family.
