SHANE, John

Peacefully at Providence Care Hospital on October 30, 2018, surrounded by his loving family, we announce the passing of John "Jack" Shane in his 86th year. Beloved husband of 60 years to the love of his life Elizabeth "Betty" (nee Dishart), loving father to son Paul Shane (Kelly), daughter Cheryl Hodgson (Bob), cherished "poppa" to his grandchildren Colin,Evan,Erin Shane, Morgan and Macey Hodgson. Dear brother to Betty Rogers, Margaret Dundon (Gerry), Alice Rhone (Cal), brother in law to Mary Hough. Predeceased by parents Earl and Irene Shane,brother Clayton Shane, brother in law Roy Rogers. Remembered fondly by his brother in laws,sister in laws,nieces,nephews and special friends Lea and Mel deLeon. In keeping with Jack's wishes , cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held.
