Audrey (Diane) Wilks passed away unexpectedly on August 13, 2018 at the age of 66.

She was born in Ontario, Canada and moved to the states while in high school. She was the daughter of the late William and Audrey Richards.

Diane married Jerry Wilks February 13, 1972. They have 2 sons Neil (Heather) Wilks of Raleigh, NC and Dustin (Mary) Wilks of Rocky Mount; 4 grandchildren, Hailey and Riley Wilks of Raleigh, NC and Ella and Emma Wilks of Rocky Mount, NC. She has 2 brothers, Gary and Billy Richards. She was a loving aunt, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend.

Diane was retired from Cato Research in Raleigh, NC where she worked with employees in the Human Resource Department. She was a talented musician and played the piano at North Ridge Alliance Church in Raleigh, NC for many years. Her favorite past times were attending music shows, plays and movies. Diane was dedicated to her family. She loved her sons tremendously and made sure to attend all their activities growing up. Diane equally did the same for her grandchildren. She attended their gymnastics meets, baseball games, basketball games, cheerleading events, etc. Her family will remember her for her love of board and card games. She was always ready to play games.

A memorial service will be held on August 22, 2018 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 6612 Creedmoor Rd. Raleigh, NC 27613 at 7pm. The family will receive friends beginning at 6pm.
