STOFEN Jamie Lee
Jamie Lee Stofen passed away suddenly but peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on February 20,2018 at the age of 39 after a long fought battle with cancer .,
Jamie is survived by his loving wife, Paula. They were married in a joyous surprise celebration in Kingston on October 27, 2017, surrounded by friends and family.
Jamie is lovingly remembered by his girls (Aiden Dore, Emma Dore, Jayden Pellerine and Devynn Pellerine) and many friends and extended family. He is also dearly missed by his buddies, his cats who spent a lot of time with him while he battled cancer over the years (Buddy, Mogwai, Gizmo and Sameera).
Jamie enjoyed tinkering with computers, cars, debates on social media, spending time with his family watching movies, friends and coffee and his cats.
There will be a celebration of life at a later time on Jamie’s would have been 40th birthday, April 21, 2018, for close friends and family.
The family would like to thank the staff of Kidd 9, Dr. Smith (Medicine Service) and his team, Dr. Flanagan (Palliative Care) and her team, Hematology Team, the ICU RACE Team and all the amazing nurses and PCAs and charge nurses for their kindness and care during his last few days.
