Emmons, Harold Stanley
July 20th, 1932- November 29th, 2017
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harold Stanley Emmons on November 29th in his 85th year. Harold was a proud supporter of youth sports. He worked for many years at the local penitentiaries, proudly served his community as a school board trustee and several terms as a municipal councilor in the township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands.
Harold passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife Fern of 61 years. Beloved father of Stephen (Tina), Daniel (Andrea) and Karen Desloges (Bob McNeely). Proud grandfather of Matthew, Stella & Ethan Emmons, Jenna, Brad & Jeremy Emmons & Kayla Desloges. Great-grandfather of Lilah Emmons & Best friend of Bob Senior. Brother of Albert (Elsa) Emmons & Sister-in-law Margaret Emmons. Predeceased by his brother Gerald Emmons.
In keeping with Harold’s wishes cremation has taken place, there will be no visitation or service. There will be a private family interment at a later date.
