Passed away peacefully at Trillium Ridge Retirement Home on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. Kathleen (Compton) beloved wife of the late Alex, dear mother of the late Linda, John (Gail), Jim (Yukiko) and Robert (Shirley). She will be sadly missed by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In keeping with Kathleen's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 in St. Andrew's By-The-Lake United Church, 1 Redden Street, Kingston, Ontario K7M 4K7. The family wish to thank the staff of Trillium Ridge for the care and compassion shown to Kathleen. Donations made to St. Andrew's By-The-Lake United Church, or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
