WOOD Donald Allen "Woodsey"

It is with profound sadness that our Woodsey passed away Sunday July 20,2014 at Fairmount Home at the wonderful age of 87. We have lost a great and loving father, husband and poppa. Woodsey was one of 13 children. He was predeceased by his parents Ellen and Chaffey Wood, 3 brothers , 3 sisters and his first wife Barbara ( Fields). He is survived by his wife Audrey and daughters Lynn Parker( Stan) and Barb van den Tillaart ( Leo). Also missing him is his granddaughter Patti Parker ( Rick). He enjoyed having Travis and Brittany van den Tillaart as part of his family. Woodsey will also be missed by Audrey's family, Sue ( Bob), Mike ( Debby) Steve, Kyle and Brittany Armstrong. He loved his visits with his 5 great grandchildren. Remembered by Barbara's family, Shirley Murray, Joan Miller and Bud Fields ( Helen). Woodsey loved to entertain his many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at 560 Legion Montreal Street on Saturday July 26, 2014 from 1:00pm till 4:00pm. A private family burial will be held at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens at a later date . We would like to thank all the staff at Fairmount Home , especially 1North for their compassion and care of Woodsey during his stay. Memorial donations to The Fairmount Home Building Fund 2069 Battersea Road Kingston Ontario K0H 1S0 would be appreciated by the family.
