Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital on Thursday November 24,2011, Gomer, beloved father of Betty ( Glen ) Cumpson, Donnie ( Linda) Veley, Kenneth ( Gloria) Veley, Barbara ( Terry) Thompson and Beverly Washer. Predeceased by son Robert Veley. Dear grandfather to Sherry ( Mark) O'Neil, Michelle ( Cory) Cassell and Tracy ( John) Stevenson. He is survived by many great-grand children.Gomer will be sadly missed by numerous sisters and brothers. In keeping with " Gomer's " wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to Cancer Centre of Southeastern Ontario University Hospitals Kingston Foundation 366 King Street E. Suite 201 Kingston, Ontario K7K 6Y3 would be appreciated by the family. The family wishes to thank the medical staff who looked after "Gomer" for the special care they gave him.
